There comes a time in all of our lives when we have to deal with mortality.  Either our mortality or that of a friend or family member. Preplanning or an inevitable event gives us the time to plan with a clear head when we are not rushed.

Often families believe that preplanning a funeral costs money.  There is no cost to preplan a funeral at a family owned funeral home that I know of.  Where people spend money is to fund the arrangements they have selected.  

The important thing to realize is that you can talk to a funeral home or preplanning counselor without any commitments.   You may just want to find out what you don't know about preplanned services.
