Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and minister. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, 3 sisters, and 4 brothers; husband, Obel E. Kilgore, Sr.; and two sons, Keith J. Kilgore & Bobby C. Kilgore. She leaves to cherish her memory, her six sons: Gary L. Jackson, Obel E. Kilgore, Jr., Edward A. Kilgore (Lori), Frederick L. Kilgore, Ronald J. Kilgore (Tracey), all of Omaha, NE & Timothy E. Kilgore of Houston, TX; three sisters, 2 brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. May 2, 1958 – June 13, 2020

Mark was born on May 2nd 1958 in Omaha, NE to Larry and Patty Waller.  He was the second of 4 children.  Mark graduated from Omaha Burke High School in 1976.  He then attended college at University of Nebraska at Lincoln.  Mark was a dedicated employee of First Data for 29 years.  In his free time, Mark enjoyed golfing, movies and traveling.  He had a passion for music, especially Elvis.

In 1996, Mark met Barb and they have enjoyed over 24 years together.  They recently wed on April 4th 2020.  Mark’s greatest pride and joy were his 9 grandchildren.  He loved taking them to the park, shopping, movies, playing games and anything else they asked to do because he simply could not tell them no.

Mark will be remembered for his kind heart, love for animals and generosity.

Mark was preceded in death by father Larry Waller; mother Patty Waller and uncle Ron Barnett. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Barb Barna; son Mike Grabowski; step-daughters: Kristy (Jake) Buettner, Lisa (Shane) Kelly and Shelly (Brett) Henn; sisters Kim Waller and Sara (Jason) Thompson; brother Todd  (Lorenza) Waller; aunt Joan Barnett; step-mother Louena Guidera; 9 grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends.

Family will be receiving friends at Stonebridge Christian Church, 15801 Butler Ave, Saturday (6/20/2020) from 10-11am with a Memorial Service at 11am.  Memorials to the Nebraska Humane Society.

“Remembering Dooney”

Lawyer Waller Jr. aka Dooney, was born January 9, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born to the union of Lawyer Waller Sr. and Mable Towers Waller. Dooney was preceded in death by both parents and 2 brothers, Billy M. Waller and Clyde H.L. Waller.
Dooney attended Lake Elementary School and went on to Technical High School in Omaha. He briefly resided with relatives in other cities but primarily lived in Omaha his entire life.
In 1966 Lawyer married Linda Ford, together they had four children. The family attended God’s Missionary Baptist Church where Dooney was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Kojo Allen. Lawyer was a hard worker throughout his life. He worked at Erickson Service Stations for several years and finally he retired from Ginn Oil as a station manager. Dooney married Thelma Richey in 2004 and together they have two children. He was a loving husband and father and his family meant the world to him.
Music was his passion and his hobby. Any and all kinds of music could be found in his collection with “Memories” by the Temptations being one of his favorites. Second to music Dooney loved to grill and of course, to eat.
Lawyer Waller Jr. transitioned peacefully on June 11, 2020 surrounded by loving family members. ”Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.”  Dooney leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Thelma, his sister Larceeda Jefferson (James) of Chicago, his brother Johnny Waller, his children Vicki Jones (W.C. Jones), Marcell Waller, Toshia Waller, Deanna Waller, DeVaute Nunn, Breonna Richey, Marquice L. Richey LaTesha Richey and LaKesha Richey. Also cherishing his memory are his grandchildren W.C. Jones, Durell Jones, Tyrese Jones, Phasia Waller, Marcell Waller Jr. Krista Waller, Ashli Broadway, Zharaye Nunn, DeVaute Nunn Jr., Zaylah Nunn, Mariah, Malik, Mike Mike, Jamir Richey, Quran Richey, Zaire Richey, Kairo Richey and Zeaira Richey, six great-grandchildren Kaeden Quaralir, Chloe Jones, Arya Waller, Hayven Waller, Jalen Jones, Oaklynn Waller along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside Service: Thursday 6/18/2020, 2 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Private family memorial service earlier that day.
